Join me on a Pilgrimage for Woman on Summer Solstice.

To go on pilgrimage is to take a journey of conscious approach to the Sacred. Walking the ancient places that are imbued with frequencies of worship and devotion ignites the Mystery as a living reality in your body, illume’s the mind and clears perception as your Being pours out its beauty as a response to your deep listening, availability and openness to receive.

I have pilgrimaged in many places and countries holding these spaces for groups for over 11 years now. I call you to join this next one on the astrological alignment of Summer Solstice as we pilgrimage with St Winefride and the Triple Goddess on an ancient pilgrims path as we deepen in the ancient pre-history mysterious.

FLOW OF THE DAY

  • Meet at 11.00am at St Winefride’s Well Shrine in Holywell. Connecting with the healing waters and the myths around St Winefride and the connection to ancient worship and devotional practice.

  • Onto Nantglyn the route and stopping place for pilgrims of St Winefride.

  • We then make our way to Gwytherin and the decommissioned church of St Winefride which is where she lived out her life and was abbess of the community. This site goes back at least 5000 years with an ancient burial mound, standing stones and ancient yew trees. We will have private access to the church and the burial mound for ritual, devotional activity and contemplation as the astrological alignment of Solstice aligns.

  • We will finish the day at the 5000 yew tree of Llangerynw at around 6pm.
